Resources

We are stronger when we work together and support each other. Below are some resources that we want to celebrate and amplify.
Reimagining Safety (Movie)
In this film (shot on iPhone), 10 experts discuss how policing and incarceration create more harm than good, why the system persists, and what changes can be made to make everyone safe.
F.I.S.T. (Fighting Injustice Standing Together)
The premiere nonprofit for providing women-specific tools, resources, and care to both currently and formerly incarcerated women run by Schai Schairer.
Humanae project
Humanæ is a photographic work in progress by artist Angélica Dass, an unusually direct reflection on the color of the skin, attempting to document humanity’s true colors rather than the untrue labels “white”, “red”, “black” and “yellow” associated with race.
Know Your Rights Camp

The Brothers’ Brunch
Brotherhood is a sacred entity that bonds and unites men in a unique way – it transcends distance, time, and status, which should pay no attention to differences or barriers. Established in 2015 by Kevan L. Turman, the Brothers Brunch focuses on three ingredients: Cuisine, Culture, and Connections.
The Race Institute
The Race Institute for K-12 Educators is an affordable and accessible opportunity for educators to grow their racial identities. We believe that it is the job of all educators to support the positive racial identity development of students; educators cannot accomplish this if they themselves do not have a positive racial identity.
YEA (Youth Empowered Action) Camp
YEA Camp is an overnight camp for social change to help aspiring activists get started or get serious about making a bigger difference in the world.
